Procedurally generating spaceships.
@spacesh1ps is a bot for Twitter, Tumblr, and Mastodon created by Steve Cvar that generates images of spaceships and captions them using the Spaceship Generator Blender script by Michael Davies.
I created some loosely Chris Foss-inspired ship textures, found some public domain space images to use as backgrounds, then wrote a script in python to procedurally generate spaceship names and short captains log entries, adding them as captions on the completed images via ImageMagick.
