A bot that finds Creative Commons music on Bandcamp
BC BY-NC-SA is a Twitter and Web bot created by Jakob Wierzba that finds music licensed as Creative Commons on Bandcamp and posts it.
There is no way to search Bandcamp by license, so this is an effort to “free the free”! The bot posts new findings every 2 hours on Twitter, and there is a complete list/archive on the web, which is searchable by tags and license.
I created the bot because I wanted to play “free” music on the radio, because I like the idea, and also to be able to post it as a podcast. Now I also compile a music-only, human-co-curated podcast versions from the findings.
