@AltTextCrew is a Twitter bot created by Hannah Kolbeck. In author’s words:
Journalists and other live-tweeters sign up for the service, and then can enable boosting of their media content that needs description to be accessible to users of screen readers. Followers of the bot respond to the live-tweeters media tweets with image or video descriptions.
