Botwiki’s stated mission is to preserve examples of creative bots, and it’s been an ongoing challenge trying to figure out what the best way to do this is.
All bots on Botwiki have at least a basic description and a link to the bot’s page. Vast majority also have a screenshot. And where it makes sense, there is an embedded example output from sites like Twitter, Mastodon, or Tumblr.
I am now looking into adding downloadable bot archives and with this blog post I would like to start the conversation on how to approach this.
