Behind @botwikidotorg’s profile image

How the @botwikidotorg profile image is made.

📅 November 19, 2019 in

The @botwikidotorg account is in part managed by the Botwiki editorial team, and in part automated: tweets containing specific keywords are pulled into the Botmakers Slack and then can be manually curated for retweets and a prompt for bot submission.

Another part of the account that’s automated is the profile image.

The image changes every thirty minutes and is created by randomly picking a recent tweet from one of these generative art bots and overlaying the Botwiki logo that’s made to look like a window inviting you to explore.

This is another way to showcase the variety of creative bots that you can browse on the site.
